Lessons of grace in the daily life of a forty-something woman.

Rena Gunther is the proud wife to Joe {the most patient man on the planet} and mother of three daughters—Cammie, Courtney and Sophie. She is also grandmother A.K.A. “Nanny” to Cammie’s son, Gavin. Cammie has already flown from the next, soaring high. Formerly in the LA National Guard, she served in Kuwait in 2013. Courtney flew from the nest August 2, 2014 when she said, “I do!” and Rena gained an amazing son-in-law, Brandon. Sophie is eager to fly, though not yet ready. Still elementary school age, she currently enjoys baking, playing softball, and art. Sophie is the product of a tubal-reversal and the amazing grace and power of Jesus Christ.

Rena loves chocolate, Diet Coke, the ocean, her family, and most of all Jesus Christ. And she also loves to write. Her first book, Lines in the Sand, releases June 1, 2016.  Much of her time is spent “Nanny”-sitting and the balancing act of parenting a child, maintaining her role as mom to two adult daughters, and grand-parenting. In the midst of hectic daily life, her desire is to make her marriage priority.

While it doesn’t replace her role in her local church body, being part of an online community of Christian women has become a vital part of her daily walk with Christ. At insert grace here you’ll find lessons learned, both small and great, funny and not so funny. But always, always. . .

grace.

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. ~ Hebrews  4:16 ~
